Alyson is a born and raised Hamiltonian. She graduated from McMaster University with a degree in Civil Engineering & Society, and has since obtained her Professional Engineer designation and PMP certification. She currently lives in Ward 1 with her wife, infant twins, and two dogs. In her (limited) spare time, Alyson enjoys singing, reading, crocheting, and walking the many beautiful trails in Hamilton.

Alyson brings over 5 years of non-profit Board of Directors experience to Pride Hamilton, and she is absolutely delighted to be a part of this organization. In this rising climate of hate and intolerance, it becomes especially important for those that have the voice to speak up and become leaders in the face of adversity. As a member of the Pride Hamilton Board of Directors, Alyson hopes to further the vision of the organization and expand its reach to be able to become a safe, inclusionary, and equitable organization for all members of Hamilton's Two Spirit and LGBTQIA+ community.
