Pride Hamilton is on a journey to create a lasting legacy of love, visibility, and celebration for all members of the local 2SLGBTQ+ community and beyond. Despite facing prejudice and opposition along the way, we remain committed to our long-term goal of building our organization and events to provide safe, accessible spaces for everyone to celebrate our history, achievements, love, freedom, diversity, and representation.
As a non-profit organization, Pride Hamilton relies solely on sponsorship and grants to operate.
Hamilton boasts a diverse and creative community, and we're dedicated to showcasing this talent through a free and accessible festival for the 2SLGBTQI+ community.
Finding sponsorship and funding opportunities for non-profits can be challenging, especially post-pandemic when many businesses have faced closures or changes in operations. With fewer opportunities available, we often must navigate obstacles and changes in criteria to secure funding.
To address these challenges, we're exploring alternative methods such as merchandise, fundraisers, and collecting donations.

Pride Hamilton is a not-for-profit organization that relies on donations from participants and sponsors. All donations collected by Pride Hamilton go directly into producing future events, or to support community initiatives.
The money Pride Hamilton raises annually is for community organizations and charities, through direct fundraising events and partnerships. Fundraising also helps other local non-profits sustain their services for those who require assistance. Pride Hamilton will continuously work to include fundraising opportunities alongside seasonal events during our fiscal year.
